Text Guide

Step1: Login YCloud and visit Campaign

Step2: Click +New Campaign

Step3: Choose the sending channel >>> WhatsApp

Step4: Fill in the details

① Name the campaign
② Choose the Sender's WhatsApp phone number. If you don't have WhatsApp account, please visit WhatsApp Channel to create your WhatsApp account first.

③ Select the WhatsApp template.

④ Schedule the send time
The schedule will be set directly by default. Click Schedule a time to specify the time

⑤ Click Next to configure the recipients



Step5: Upload the recipients

There are two ways to upload the recipients' phone number

(1) Manual input
Enter the phone number in the box, every line can only enter one number. And please make sure the number is in an international format which should start with the country code. For example, the United Kindom number is 44, and the phone number is 7759398257, then you should enter +447759398257.
And if you already have an excel file, you can copy the phone number column and paste them into the box.



Be notice, if there are variables in the template, we suggest using the Upload file to set up the recipients. Manual input only supports setting those variables to fixed values.
For example, the template is "Hi, {{name}}", and you choose using the manual input to upload the recipients, so you can only set the {{name}} to a fixed value, like "there". And the final message sent to all recipients will be "Hi, there".

(2) Upload file
The upload file method support set variables on the messages.

① Download the Template to fill in the phone numbers.



② Open the Template file and fill in the phone numbers
(1) The phone number must on the first column and be named "phone".
(2) If you don't have any variables in the message, you can delete the other column of the template.
(3) If you have variables in the messages, you can input the name of your variables starting from the first row of the second column.
For example, the SMS message is "Hi, {{name}} panda socks arrived! There are several colors ". Then you can set a variable named "name"

(3) Segment

Choose customers from your Contact.

Click Contact segment, and choose a segment. If you haven't created any segment yet, you can visit Contact to add one.

Step6: Set up the variables

If there are Media header, variables in the template, you can set up those values in this step.
If there are no variables in the template, this part won't show up, you can press next to continue.

(1) Headers
YCloud will provide a default sample media profile, It is recommended to change this media to make passing review easier.

(2) Variables
If there are variables in the template, please upload your file with variables, then match the variables in the template and the variables' value in the file manually.

Set the variable to a fixed value. Select Set a fixed text and give it a value.

Click Next to check the campaign details.

Step7: Check the details

Confirm the details and preview the message.
Be sure you have clicked the Submit button to complete the submission.
