# Template Library

> Use official, pre-approved WhatsApp templates with fixed categories.

The Template Library is Meta's official collection of pre-approved WhatsApp message templates available through YCloud. These templates are ready for faster use and do not need to go through the standard content review process again.

The library includes templates for common **Utility** use cases and **Authentication** messages such as verification codes.

## Why use the Template Library

A library template has a fixed category that does not change after you select it. This makes the library especially useful when a custom Utility template has previously been classified as Marketing.

Using an official library template can help you:

* Start with pre-approved content for common business scenarios.
* Avoid unexpected category changes for the selected template.
* Find ready-made Utility templates for account updates, appointments, order notifications, and similar use cases.
* Use official Authentication templates for verification-code delivery.

  A Template Library item keeps the category assigned by Meta. Select a template that accurately matches the message you intend to send.

## Find a template

1. Open the relevant WABA in the YCloud dashboard.
2. Go to **Manage Template** and select **Template library**.
3. Select **Utility** or **Authentication**.
4. Choose the required language.
5. Search by keyword or use the available industry and feature filters.
6. Review the template content and variables, then select the template that matches your use case.

Templates selected from the library become resources of the relevant WABA and can be used by business phone numbers that belong to that WABA.

## Library limitations

The Template Library is managed entirely by Meta. Businesses cannot add their own templates to the library or change the official library content and category.
