# CTWA Introduction

> Click-to-WhatsApp Ads (CTWA) are an excellent tool for acquiring new customers now, helping you maximize your ad spend on Facebook and Instagram、 TikTok & Google.

Click-to-WhatsApp Ads (CTWA) let customers start a WhatsApp conversation with your business directly from an ad.

Customers do not need to visit a landing page, fill out a form, or wait for a callback. After they tap the message button in your ad, they can contact your business in WhatsApp right away. With YCloud, you can bring CTWA conversations and follow-up work into one place.

## CTWA Platform

YCloud supports CTWA ads on the following platforms:

## How CTWA works

1. A customer sees your ad and taps the message button.
2. WhatsApp opens, and the customer starts a conversation with your business.
3. Your team receives and follows up on the conversation in YCloud.
4. When you want to understand what happens after a conversation, open the relevant ad results guide.
5. Use the CTWA results available in YCloud to improve your future advertising and follow-up process.

## Before you start

Before you begin, make sure you have:

* A WhatsApp Business number connected to YCloud.
* An ad account for the platform where you plan to advertise.
* A team member who can respond to incoming WhatsApp conversations.

When connecting an ad account, sign in with an account that can manage the relevant business and advertising assets.
