# Meta CTWA Ads

> This page is designed to help you understand the prerequisites, key account relationships, and the full setup flow for Meta CTWA ads.

Meta Click-to-WhatsApp (CTWA) ads let customers start a WhatsApp conversation with your business directly from an ad on Facebook, Instagram.

With YCloud, you can respond to and follow up with these customers, view ad performance, and report ad events to Meta to help measure and optimize your ads. Available ad placements depend on the options shown in Meta Ads Manager.

## Before you start

Before you begin, make sure you have:

* **Meta ad account:** Create and manage your ads. [Visit Meta Ads Manager](https://adsmanager.facebook.com/adsmanager/)
* **Facebook Page:** Represent your business and link your WhatsApp Business number. [Create a Facebook Page](https://www.facebook.com/pages/create/)
* **Instagram account (if needed):** Represent your business in Instagram ads. [Sign up](https://www.instagram.com/accounts/emailsignup/)

Make sure the WhatsApp Business number you use to receive customer messages is connected to YCloud. If it is not connected yet, see [Connect your WhatsApp Business account](/en/documentation/channels/whatsapp-accounts-management/business-accounts/create-waba-via-embedded-sign-up).

## Setup flow

### 1. Connect your Meta ad account

Authorize YCloud to access the Meta ad account you use for advertising so you can view ad data and use ad event reporting.

### 2. Create a CTWA ad

Create your CTWA ad in Meta Ads Manager.

### 3. Report ad events to Meta
