# Manage subscriptions and add-ons
> View your subscription and usage, purchase or renew plans and add-ons, and manage automatic renewal.
# Manage subscriptions and add-ons
Use **Subscription** to review your current plan, add-ons, usage, and renewal details. You can also purchase or renew a plan, add capacity with add-ons, and manage automatic renewal from this page.
## View your subscription
In the YCloud Dashboard, go to **Settings** > **Billing** > **Subscription**.
### View your current plan and add-ons
In **Current plan & Add-on**, review your current plan, add-ons, and **Valid until** date.
### View your usage and limits
In **Usage & limits**, review your included quota, current usage, and **Next update date**.
For Generative AI credits and Translation Quota, this area distinguishes between quota included with your plan and quota purchased as an add-on:
* Plan-included quota resets each month.
* Separately purchased quota has a fixed validity period from its purchase date. It does not follow your plan cycle or plan expiry date.
## Purchase or renew a subscription
### Upgrade your current plan
In **Current plan & Add-on**, select **Upgrade** to choose a higher plan. Review the plan summary before you complete checkout. For an upgrade, the summary shows the plan change, the price difference, and the new plan end date.

### Renew an expiring plan
Review **Valid until** in **Current plan & Add-on** when your subscription is approaching its end date. Select **Renew** to purchase another subscription with the same plan and the same User accounts and Channels add-ons as your current subscription.
The renewed subscription is combined with your current configuration and extends the end date of your current plan.
## Purchase add-ons
Select **Add add-on** in **Current plan & Add-on** to review available add-ons and their order summary before purchase.

| User accounts | Renews with your plan and expires when the plan expires. |
| Channels | Renews with your plan and expires when the plan expires. |
| Generative AI credits | Does not expire when your plan expires. It has a fixed validity period that starts on the purchase date. Its expiry date is shown in the add-on purchase flow. |
| Translation Quota | Does not expire when your plan expires. It has a fixed validity period that starts on the purchase date. Its expiry date is shown in the add-on purchase flow. |

## Manage automatic renewal
Automatic renewal uses a saved payment card. During an eligible Credit/Debit Card subscription checkout, accept the recurring-charge authorization to set it up.
In **Next auto-renewal**, you can review the estimated amount, next charge date, payment card, and next plan and add-ons. Open the actions menu to select **Change card** or **Cancel auto-renewal**.
Canceling automatic renewal stops the next renewal only. Your current paid subscription remains active until its displayed end date.
### If automatic renewal needs action
If a renewal needs action, follow the status shown in **Next auto-renewal**.
* If you see **Action required**, complete the required 3D Secure verification.
* If payment fails, update the card or use the available payment action to continue.
* If renewal retries stop, select a plan and complete payment manually.
* If your subscription currency has changed, contact YCloud Support to continue an upgrade or renewal.
## Understand subscription expiry and the buffer period
### When your subscription expires
After your subscription expires, user accounts that exceed your plan limit become inactive and cannot sign in to the tenant. Benefits from your previous plan, including its data-storage duration, no longer apply.
### During the 15-day buffer period
After expiry, you enter a 15-day buffer period. During this period, renew or upgrade your plan to restore the inactive user accounts and data-storage benefits associated with your previous plan.
### After the buffer period ends
After the buffer period ends, data associated with inactive user accounts, and data retained only because of your previous plan's data-storage duration, is no longer retained. Renewing or upgrading after the buffer period ends cannot restore this data.
To avoid disruption to your business, renew your subscription from **Settings** > **Billing** > **Subscription** before the buffer period ends. For plan features and prices, visit [YCloud Pricing](https://www.ycloud.com/pricing).
## Frequently Asked Questions
No. It stops the next renewal. Your current paid subscription remains active until its displayed end date.
Balance deduction requires enough available funds and is unavailable when automatic renewal is enabled. For the full checkout rules, see [Payment methods and saved cards](/en/documentation/pricing-and-billing/payment-methods-and-cards).
On your subscription expiry date, automatic renewal charges your saved card for the next billing period using your next plan and add-on configuration. If payment fails that day, YCloud retries the payment over the following days. Retries stop after the configured number of attempts. You must then select a plan and complete payment manually.
The actions available for your account change based on your subscription status and configuration. Select **Manage subscription** to review the available options for your current subscription.
