Supported export types
You need the corresponding business export permission to create a task or download its file.
Create an export task
- Open the business page for the data you want to export.
- Set your filters or select the records you want to export, then click the corresponding export button.
- Complete security verification if prompted.
- If prompted, select the time zone to use for timestamps in the exported file, then submit the export. Contact exports do not require you to select a time zone manually.
- After the task is created successfully, open My exports to check its progress.
View and filter tasks
Click your avatar in the lower-left corner and select My exports. The page only shows tasks you created, ordered from newest to oldest by creation time. Use these filters to find a task:- Created time: Filter by task creation time. The default range is the last 7 days.
- Export type: Filter by the type of exported data.
- Status: Filter by task status.
Task status
A red dot on your avatar or the My exports menu item indicates new task results. Open the page to review them.
Creation times, completion times, and file expiry times use your browser’s local time zone. The time zone you select when exporting controls timestamps inside the file, so the two may differ.
Download a file
When a task is Completed, its file has not expired, and you still have the corresponding download permission, click Download file. Each successful task generates one complete CSV file. Files are retained for 7 days (168 hours) after generation completes. The File validity column shows the expiry time. You can download a file multiple times before it expires. Downloading does not extend its validity. After a file expires, its download button is unavailable. The task remains Completed because the file was generated successfully. To get a new file, return to the original business page and export again.Frequently asked questions
Why is my task still Queued?
Queued means the task was created and is waiting to be processed. You do not need to submit it again. Return to My exports later to check its status. What should I do if a task is Failed?
Review the failure reason and follow the instructions, then return to the original business page and export again. If the data exceeds the limit shown, narrow the time range or adjust your filters before trying again. Why can’t I download a completed file?
Check whether the file is still valid and whether you have permission to download that type of file.- If the file has expired, return to the original business page and export again.
- If you do not have download permission, contact your administrator.
- For other download failures, try Download file again later. A download failure does not change a completed task to Failed.
Why can’t I find an earlier export task?
Make sure you are signed in with the account that created the task, then check your filters:- Expand the Created time date range.
- Clear any export type or status filters.
- Confirm that you created the task yourself.
