Billing and Recharge

Use Recharge to check your available balance, make a one-time recharge, or automatically recharge your balance with a saved payment card.

Understand your balance

Your wallet shows these two amounts:

Understand frozen amount

Frozen amount is shown separately from your available balance. YCloud freezes an estimated charge before processing a message request, then completes the charge or releases the frozen funds after the request is processed.

WhatsApp

For WhatsApp, the estimated charge is deducted when the message is delivered or read. If the message fails, the frozen amount is released. If a message remains in Processing for 30 consecutive days, its frozen amount is released automatically.
Example You send a WhatsApp message estimated to cost $10. YCloud freezes $10 before processing it. If the message is delivered or read within 30 days, $10 is deducted. If it fails within 30 days, the $10 is released. If it stays in Processing for 30 days, the $10 is released automatically.

SMS, Email, and Voice

For SMS, Email, and Voice, the estimated charge is deducted when the message is sent successfully. If sending fails, the frozen amount is released.
Example You schedule an SMS campaign estimated to cost $10. YCloud freezes $10 when you submit it. When the SMS is sent, $10 is deducted. If you cancel the campaign before it is sent, the $10 is released.

Top up your balance

You can add funds to your balance in two ways: make a one-time manual recharge, or set up automatic recharge using a saved payment card.

Make a manual recharge

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Recharge.
  2. Find Add funds to your account, the one-time manual recharge section.
  3. Enter an amount that meets the minimum shown for your wallet currency.
  4. Select an available payment method, then select Next.
  5. Return to Recharge to check the payment result and your wallet balance.
The amount field validates against the minimum set for your wallet currency. The payment methods available to you depend on your account and wallet currency. For payment-method rules and saved-card management, see Payment methods and saved cards.
After you pay, Recharge can show Successful, a processing message, or an unsuccessful result. An unsuccessful result provides Try again and Get help.
Recharge page showing automatic recharge setup and the manual recharge form.

Choose a payment method and enter the amount under Add funds to your account. This screen precedes payment.

Set up automatic recharge

When your wallet balance falls below the threshold you set, YCloud charges the selected saved card once to add the recharge amount you set.
  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Recharge.
  2. Select Set up in the automatic recharge section.
  3. Set Recharge when balance is below.
  4. Set Recharge amount.
  5. Select a Payment card, then save the setting.
Use Change card to update the card, or Turn off to stop automatic recharge. To add or manage a card, see Payment methods and saved cards.

Check an automatic recharge status

Automatic recharge can show Action required, Processing, or Failed when it needs attention. If the status is Action required, your bank requires 3D Secure verification and retries pause until you complete it. Processing does not require an action. If the recharge fails, select Change card or make a one-time manual recharge.
